Remembering history is understanding who we are in the river of time. Rideau Canal, building started in 1826 and completed in 1832, is one of Canadian great historical engineering achievements that connect the Ottawa River to Lake Ontario. It is a world heritage designed by Lieutenant-Colonel John By and is still operated manually for recreational boats. I document the stories between people and this heritage.
